Deposits

Please note that a 50% deposit is required for the overall cost of your appointment, this is to reduce late cancellations and non attendance. Deposits can be paid via Fresha (our online booking system), with cash or by bank transfer. If you prefer cash or bank transfer please contact Renova Therapy on 07563 064317 or directly through the website or Facebook page.
Appointments cannot be held without a deposit.

Late cancellation, late arrival and no show policy
​
In the event of a cancellation (including rescheduling) with less than 48 hours notice or non attendance of appointment, this will forfeit your deposit. If however this is due to exceptional circumstances your deposit may be refunded to you but this will be at the discretion of Renova Therapy. *Minor illnesses will not count as exceptional circumstances*.

If a client cancels or reschedules with less than 48 hour notice, or does not attend appointments on 3 consecutive occasions, Renova Therapy reserves the right to decline any future appointments and they may be blocked from booking online or full payment will be required to book future appointments.

If your appointment is cancelled by Renova Therapy eg, Emma is ill, unable to make other arrangements for childcare, or any other unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to reschedule your appointment as soon as feasibly possible and you reserve the right to have your deposit returned to you (or full payment if you paid in full) if you are unable to attend on an alternative date.

If a client is late for their appointment the treatment may not be able to be carried out in the time left, Renova Therapy will endeavour to meet your appointment needs but this might mean a treatment is altered or cut short. In the event the treatment cannot be carried out the client will need to re-book their appointment and the deposit will be forfeited.
If the client foresees a late arrival it is recommended that they contact Renova Therapy in advance to advise of this, however please note that Renova Therapy may not be able to respond if other clients are having their appointments.

Gift vouchers

For anyone booking an appointment with a gift voucher, if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice, or in the event of non attendance, a fee of 50% of the appointment total will be required to rebook.
All vouchers must be redeemed within the timeframe stated on the voucher. If booked outside of the timeframe the voucher will no longer be valid.

General booking policy

If you would like to book a treatment for a specific reason but you are not sure what might be best suited to you then please read the treatment description if booking on Fresha, alternatively you can contact Renova Therapy for guidance; please do so prior to booking as Renova Therapy cannot be held liable for incorrect treatments booked eg, if a client wishes to cancel with less than 48 hours notice because they have not selected the correct treatment nor contacted Renova Therapy for guidance. In the event this happens this will also forfeit your deposit.

Appointments for minors
​​
Some treatments can be carried out on children (depending on age and treatment) however please check with Renova Therapy prior to booking, also a parent or guardian will need to sign a consent form and be present during the appointment.
Please note that for any appointment in which needles are used, you must be aged 18 and over.

Drug and alcohol policy
​​​
Any client deemed under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave and their appointment will not go ahead, they will need to re-book and will lose their deposit. This does not apply to clients on any medication that they require for a medical condition, please note however that certain medications may be a contraindication to some treatments and your appointment may not go ahead. If you are not sure if any medications will affect your appointment please seek guidance from both Renova Therapy and a medical professional.

Antisocial behaviour

If a client is acting in an intimidating or threatening way, including the use of foul language, violence or threats, or makes any sexual propositions they will be asked to leave immediately and the police will be notified. Renova Therapy takes a zero tolerance approach to any behaviour deemed inappropriate, intimidating or offensive.

Patch tests
​​​
Certain treatments require a patch test which must be booked at least 24 hours prior your appointment and it is your responsibility to ensure that this is booked. The treatments in which patch testing is compulsory are tinting, lash lift, brow lamination and HD brows. If you have had these treatments previously with Renova Therapy and have already had a patch test you will not need another unless the brand of product used has changed but you would be notified of this in advance.
Patch tests are industry standard and are mandatory regardless of whether you have had previous treatments elsewhere that contain dyes, perming solutions, glues or pigments.

Non disclosure or false representation of medical history/concerns

If clients fail to disclose or falsely represent a medical concern that may prevent a treatment from going ahead, or cause an adverse reaction, Renova Therapy cannot be held liable. This also applies to any reactions occurring from a patch test that has been carried out by Renova Therapy.
If you have any health conditions, ailments, are taking medication or have had/ are having a surgical procedure then please notify Renova Therapy whether you feel it is relevant or not.
If you are unsure then please speak to Renova Therapy prior to booking/ continuing with your treatment.
Emma at Renova Therapy is not a medical professional nor qualified to diagnose any conditions however, Renova Therapy reserves the right to request to see a doctors or health professionals note before undergoing any treatment. Failure to provide this could result in your treatment not going ahead or being postponed.

Data protection and safeguarding

All client's personal information is kept safe and stored away and will never be shared with third parties. In the event any personal information is to be used full consent will be obtained. This applies to photos taken of work carried out eg, to use on Renova Therapy's social media. The client reserves the right to change their mind at any time.
Any information disclosed to Renova Therapy in person is kept private unless it is deemed there is a risk of harm to a third party or parties.

General terms and conditions

Renova Therapy reserves the right to amend prices and terms and conditions at any time but will inform customers of such changes that are about to or have taken place.
